We’ve touched on this subject before, but we continue to receive a lot of requests about how to rip DVD movies to iPod Touch format. It’s quite an easy process if you have the right tools. We recommend you checkout the iSofter DVD to iPod Ripper.
Your first step of course is to download the software. A free trial version is available if you want to try it out before you pay any cash for it. After you’ve downloaded, installed and run the software, you will input the DVD into your hard drive that you want to rip.
The software should automatically recognize the DVD and then prompt you to start the conversion process. You can either do it the easy way with one-click ripping (using the default settings) OR you can select the individual chapters or episodes you want to rip to iPod format.
Once you have made your mind up, click the convert button and go grab a snack. It will take a little bit of time to get the entire movie converted. Once complete, you just have to use iTunes to upload to your iPod Touch. That’s it. It really is that simple.

The limit on MP3 players in Europe is 100 decibels, however even a sound of 89 decibels regularly listened to is devastating to the ears. In tune with these findings, Britains Royal National Institute for Deaf People has a “Don’t Lose The Music” campaign.

The iPhone has a number of security flaws. According to Israeli researcher Raff, the technical details have been disclosed to Apple weeks before a post in his blog. His concern was that the security issues should get fixed as soon as possible. Now, even after two and a half months, there has been no patching of these issues. He had asked Apple for a schedule many times but was given no dates.
One flaw is the flaw in URL display. This allows an attacker to send a message with a malicious URL that looks real. Generally all you need to do is hover the link and you get a tooltip which will tell you the real URL you will click. In the iPhone, only after clicking the link for a few seconds would you get the tooltip. With the smaller iPhone screen, long URL’s are cut off.
