iPod users in Asia have something to whine about. It is not easy being in love with your iPod in Asia. The much hyped software upgrade publicized by Steve Jobs at Macworld is unavailable in Asia. Even if you have the dollars to spend for the additional 5 apps, the news is that you cant buy them. You can have that facility through iTunes only.
One other frustrating moment arises when you realize that people who have purchased the Touch can only watch helplessly as those who buy the new iPod Touch will get the new 5 apps along with their purchase.
I mean come on! If Apple is installing the new apps on the new phones there must be something that can be done for people who alreardy own the phones! Meanwhile Apple is still to respond to whether Asian users can get the software upgrade by sending the Touch to a service center rather than through iTunes.
Till then all Asian users can do is rant and wait.
