iPod Touch Software Update

iPod now has a software update for the iPod touch waiting for those who connect to iTunes. The new software (version 1.1.2) can now be had from iTunes. The reason for the software update is said to be bug fixes. In addition some notable add on’s are available with the 157 mb download.

A battery icon will now be displayed in the source list of iTunes next to the iPod entry. The iPhone has a similar icon with the just released software for it.

Now you can add and edit events directly to your iPod in the same manner as you do with your iPhone. This has been done keeping in mind the needs of the users. In addition the Tiff exploit is disabled. This is done so that hackers cannot load third party applications on the iPod

Touch. However, according to sources, the new iPod Touch software has already been mastered by hackers so that third party installations can now be put to the iPod

In other news the new touch screen of the Apple iPod is receiving good reviews. All navigation is done through the screen, and quite seamlessly. Though the icons on the screen are small, navigation is easy.

With a slim beautiful body, the new touch screen has a number of features like wireless internet which are likely to become very popular. The only negative is the price and low storage for video files. If you have the cash, I suggest you splurge.
