SingStand, a portable microphone speaker system was introduced on Thursday by Memorex. It has been designed with the iPod in mind. In fact it hits Walmart this November. Priced at $69.99, it is sure to make you want to Karaoke. A Microphone and full size integrated mike stand are part of the package. With two four inch speakers sounding the singers voice out loud, this device works with any device that comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack which includes your iPod.

 

Also part of the package is dual mic input. So you can sing duets as well. Echo effects are part of the SingStand and Auto Voice Control eliminates the original song vocals. This means you can sing along with the instrumentation and have real fun with your iPod.

 

The iPod is coming with newer and newer accessories every day. This addition from Memorex, namely the SingStand is welcome as it enhances the iPod experience in a completely new manner. Singing along with my iPod is something I am looking forward to.
