There is a cool new tool on the horizon. A Safari bookmarket has been created by Inventive Labs Gadgets. This adds tabs to your iPod Touch or iPhone. All you have to do is drag Inventive Labs bookmarklet to your Safari bookmarks bar. After this you need to sync your iPod Touch or iPhone -select Sync Safari bookmarks in iTunes.

Open any web page after syncing and from your iPhone bookmarks list, choose Tabulate. This will be followed by the appearance of a small orange icon on the left-top of your screen. When you tap on a link a control window consisting of three buttons appears.

The blue button will open a link in the current tab, green will open the link in a new tab and orange will add the link to a list that can be opened later.

This works pretty well. Opening the bookmarklet for every page is a little irritating and there are some issues with the Javascript. However, I have found this bookmarklet very handy and I am going to keep it permanently in my iPod Touch Javascript bookmarklets collection.

Share and Enjoy: These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.
